Who we are
Ecumene is first and foremost a research and development firm, investing in data and technology to get the best we can out of both.
We started developing our trading platform in 2022, pursuing one that is simple, practical, and reliable. We began iteratively investing in it, first testing our initial system, then building an options-focused strategy and risk management framework, then committing to optimizing our technology. Over time, our knowledge and codebase grew, eventually forming into a platform that can operate across markets and asset classes.
For three years, we’ve focused on the depth of our capabilities. Today, we still do that – as well as expanding their breadth. We are targeting both through a more advanced computing environment to enhance our leading strategy and diversify into new ones. Moving forward, what won’t change is our emphasis on simplicity, making sure our research and technology work together seamlessly.
